The pumpkins have been carved, and the turkeys have been stuffed and now it is time to prepare for the most wonderful time of the year-Christmas!
There are many events in our local area to enjoy this week. These events are family friendly and free unless noted otherwise.
November 30th- December 2nd Kids Crazy Christmas Show hosted by Second Baptist Church. Show times can be found here. While you’re there, make sure to stop in the B Building and check out the amazing miniature train display surrounded by quiet villages covered in snow.
December 1st 6:00-9:00 PM– Santa’s Farm hosted by the FFA programs from Kingwood High School and Kingwood Park High School. Enjoy seeing the animals in their decorated stalls, a live nativity, hayrides and more. Shuttle provided from Kingwood United Methodist Church.
December 1st and 2nd 1:00-9:00PM Kingwood Nativity and music festival hosted by Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints. See an array of nativities from around the globe while enjoying the sounds of our local choirs and orchestras.
December 2nd 8th Annual Snowball Run hosted by Pines Montessori. This years event will benefit the Friends of Kingwood Library and help them rebuild their Children’s Library that was damaged during Hurricane Harvey. Click here for registration information.
December 5th– 26th Annual City of Humble Christmas Parade will begin at 6:30 PM in downtown Humble.
December Offerings-Add a little culture to your holidays with performances at the Charles Bender Performing Arts Center. December showings include; The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Polar Express, and The Houston Show Choir. Click here for performance times and ticketing information.
